Austin is your destination wedding locale! Everyone is welcome here!

Did you know Austin is one of the top wedding destinations in the United States?  It’s true!  The majority of Altar Ego Weddings clients DO NOT live in Austin.  They come from California, Washington DC, Chicago, New York and many Texas cities, such as Dallas, Houston, Lubbock and Abilene.  And that’s just a start.  Why do couples want to get married here?  Here are some of the top reasons:

1. They attended college here!  Many UT Longhorns have fond memories of their college days.  They want to come back and share their Austin experience with their friends and families.
2. They have family here or nearby.  Austin and its surrounding areas have tons of venue options from rustic to posh.  There’s bound to be something for everyone.
3. The cost of having a wedding in Austin is less than the location in which they live.  They get more bang for their buck here.
4. Finally, Austin is a really cool place to visit!  The Texas Hill Country is a beautiful place to marry.  It’s got a fun, relaxed vibe that is Austin to the core.  Prefer to stay in town?  There are choices there, too!  Try a downtown hotel or loft-style venue with plenty of lodging options around.  Entertainment options abound whether they want their guests to enjoy live music, visit wineries and breweries or take advantage of a multitude of outdoor activities.
