I love the Altar Ego Weddings team! Get to know our wedding planners!

Hello out there!  It’s Jen Ashford, owner of Altar Ego Weddings!  This is the 10th year in business for Altar Ego Weddings and I could not be more thrilled with the growth we are experiencing and are poised to experience in the coming years.  We recently took new photos and head shots for our web site and I want to take some time to dote on my team!  Special thanks to Mercedes Morgan Photography for the photos, Ma Maison, our beautiful backdrop and host and Lavish Beauty for making us pretty!

It takes a special group of professionals to plan and coordinate weddings in two different markets, but we’re doing it!  Together, we accommodate weddings in both the Austin/Texas Hill Country area and Dallas-Fort Worth!

These ladies are obviously beautiful, but not only on the outside!  Each one is talented, thoughtful and FUN and brings a unique perspective and design eye to our clients!  They are all special to me and came to Altar Ego Weddings at just the right time!  From month-of coordination to full-service wedding planning, any of these fabulous wedding planners is your girl.  From left to right, meet Kiersten, me, Molli and Heidi.

As a business owner, it’s incredibly difficult to feel comfortable allowing other individuals to share in your reputation.  I have no doubt that these dynamic, wonderful wedding planners uphold the Altar Ego Weddings commitment to customer service, integrity and my main goal of being approachable for our clients.  We strive to help our clients enjoy their wedding planning process and wedding day with as little stress as possible!

All of us have been trained by the American Association of Certified Wedding Planners (AACWP).  I serve in the organization as a mentor, course facilitator, instructor and on the Board of Directors as Education Chair.  Kiersten, Molli and Heidi have earned Trained Wedding Planner status and are members in good standing an serve on various committees. As AACWP members, we adhere to a strict code of ethics and agree to a high level of conduct personally and professionally.

Molli and I plan and coordinate weddings in the Austin and Texas Hill Country areas, while Kiersten and Heidi handle all Dallas-Fort Worth weddings!  We are blessed to be featured in multiple publications and be associated with professional organizations! One of our proudest accomplishments is winning the Wedding Wire Couple’s Choice award since it’s inception, or 8 years!
