How to Incorporate 2016 Pantone Colors of the Year Into Your Wedding!

Hello out there!  If you've been awake this past week you've seen that Pantone has announced the 2016 Pantone color(S) of the year!  This is the first time they've "blessed" two colors instead of just one.  Feast your eyes upon Rose Quartz (13-1520) and Serenity (15- 3919).

You will undoubtedly see these colors in the fashion and home decor world, but how do we interpret these colors for weddings?  Altar Ego Weddings has come up with some ideas for you.  Let's start with Rose Quartz:

There are a myriad of ways to infuse Rose Quartz into your wedding.  Pink tones are very of-the-moment, so it's hard to go wrong including it in your wedding palette.  Have you ever thought about a pinkish wedding gown?  How about candles?  You don't have to go with the typical white or ivory.  Of course, you can also infuse it in your flowers and decor.  But wait, there's another color..............Serenity........

Serenity provides a good opportunity to incorporate "something blue."  Flowers, jewelry, bridesmaid dresses; the options are limitless.  Blue is calming and peaceful and echoes nature.  What if we combine the two 2016 Pantone colors into one cohesive wedding design?

Oh, it's divine!  Did you know blue and pink hues could look so chic together?  No more baby blue and pink here.  Strike a balance between Rose Quartz and Serenity with your wedding design.  Think about your floral, invitations and paper items and even your own wedding gown.  This is a good opportunity to consider fresh, happy colors in your wedding design.  Never have pink and blue looked less baby-ish than in these wedding ideas!
