This has been a long time coming! Brides of Austin magazine is the little sister of Brides of North Texas (BONT) and Brides of Oklahoma. Having seen the success of BONT, we knew Brides of Austin would be a great opportunity for us. It showcases the best of the best Austin wedding vendors, including wedding planners. The magazine is beautiful and so is the web site! We had been sworn to secrecy on this gorgeous styled shoot since April! APRIL!!! That was a long time to wait for this beauty, but it was worth it!
Onto the details! They say inspiration is everywhere, right? Well, one of my sources for inspiration on this one was a drop dead amazing blue chair from Birch & Brass I saw earlier this year at a venue open house. As strange as this sounds, I (Jen) just couldn't stop thinking about that chair! The blue was so vibrant and it kind of shined! I knew I had to incorporate it into my design. It could be used in a myriad of styles, so I had a bunch of ideas, but none I loved until it hit me. One day, admiring the beauty of nature in Austin, it hit me - nature was my inspiration. The colors would be blue for the sky, green for grass, yellow for sun and white for clouds! Then how do you kick it up a bit? With gold! I also showed al fresco food selections, including a charcuterie display and olive oil dipping station. Here's a link to the Brides of Austin feature! Vendor links below photos!
On a clear April day earlier this year, I had the opportunity to collaborate with some rockstar vendors to create this natural design! Check out this vendor collaboration:
