We are thrilled to announce the addition of two wonderfully talented wedding planners to the Altar Ego Weddings Austin team! Their names are.......get ready for it.......Jen and Jenna. Yes, our Austin team is now made up of Jen A (owner), Jen K and Jenna. Clear as mud? Ha! We are happy to have increased wedding planning and coordination capacity in the Austin and Texas Hill Country areas and look forward to serving more brides. This brings our total wedding planner count to five including our two fabulous Dallas-Fort Worth wedding planners! Without further ado, we're proud to introduce our new Austin planners! Jen Krause
Hayo! I'm Jen Krause, and I am based in Austin. With a background in graphic design, I have an eye for detail. I'm one of the weird ones who has just as much of a right brain as a left -- I love pretty palettes and cohesive designs as much as spreadsheets, timelines and diagrams. While I'm not married myself, I believe weddings are one of the most special occasions you can share with someone, and I strive to make the day full of relaxation, laughter & happy tears. No stress allowed!
I have a B.F.A. from the University of North Texas (Go Mean Green!). In addition to being a planner, I am also a designer/calligrapher. In my spare time, you can typically find me with ink-stained hands, sitting at my messy desk and sketching whatever song is currently stuck in my head.
I also have experience in event rentals & wedding videography/editing to lend to your planning. I truly love all aspects of the wedding industry, and I can't wait to help make your big day the best day ever!

Hi everyone! I’m Jenna Windham and I am proud to be on the Altar Ego Weddings wedding planning team in Austin. I have a mixed background planning a range of events from weddings to state conferences to annual meetings and holiday parties. Throughout my planning experience I have found a special passion for planning weddings. I truly enjoy the organization and planning process and love getting to work with amazing couples and help their ideal weddings come to life!
I am a Trained Wedding Planner (TWP) through AACWP and also have a Bachelors of Communications from the University of Texas (Hook ‘em Horns!).
If you need someone to help you stay on track and keep you organized while assisting you with any wedding details and decisions, I’m your girl! My goal at the end of your wedding day is for you to have breezed through the celebration completely stress-free! Rest assured I will handle any obstacle that comes along so you just enjoy your special day with family and friends.
